Meet Penny
A little dream that became Acres of Art
Hi, I'm Penny.
Acres of Art started as a little dream — a dream that my friend Chrissy encouraged me to stop talking about and actually make happen.
Not long after, Chrissy passed away following a short illness, making this little studio even more meaningful to me.
Today, Acres of Art is a place where people can slow down, have a laugh, connect with each other and discover the simple joy of creating something with their own hands.
It's not about being an artist.
It's about the experience and the memories.
A place to relax, create and connect
Our studio sits on our working farm in Pakenham, surrounded by country views and open space.
I wanted to create somewhere that felt welcoming and relaxed — somewhere you could step away from the everyday hustle and spend a few hours doing something completely different.
Whether you're coming to a public Paint & Sip, celebrating with friends, bringing your team together or creating a painting of your pet, I'll be there to guide you through it.
You don't need to be artistic
One of the things I hear most often is:
"But I can't paint!"
That's okay.
You don't need experience, confidence or any special artistic skills.
I'll guide you step-by-step, and I'll be there to help if you get stuck.
